Having Money Work for You 2

The last time, I wrote about investments being the foundation to having money work for you. I also wrote about five (5) types of investments which are essential and yields income not only financially but other areas and we’ll be looking at each of them today.

1. Spiritual Investment
2. Physical Investment
3. Mental Investment
4. Social Investment
5. Financial Investment

1. Spiritual Investment: Spiritual Investment talks about investing in the supernatural realm. Investing in the supernatural realm are in two dimensions; Investing with God and Investing with the Devil. Anyway, I won’t be talking about investing with the devil but with God.

Any project that has to do with God; church planting, giving to the needy and most especially, tithes and offering. When you do all of these mentioned or any of them, you’re investing with God. Mind you, tithe & offering are important.

What happens when you invest with God?

• When you give, the bible says in Luke 6:38 and I quote:

“Give and it shall be given unto you;
Good measure, pressed down, and
Shaken together, and running over,
Shall men give into your bosom?
For with the same measure that ye
Mete withal it shall be measure to you again”.

But you might say, “it’s man we’re giving not God”. Yes, it’s man not God but it’s in the word of God that you should give even unto man as it is written here. Also, the bible says in Matthew 25:40 and I quote:

“And the King shall answer and say
Unto them; verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto
One of the least of these brethren,
Ye have done it unto me”.

Now tell me, who are the brethren the King (Jesus) was referring to? We are the ones.

• When you pay your tithes, the bible says in Malachi 3:10 and I quote:

“Bring ye all the tithes into the
Storehouse, that there may be meat in
Mine house, and prove me now
Herewith, saith the LORD of hosts,
If I will not open you the windows
Of heaven and pour you out a blessing,
That there shall not be room enough
To receive it”.

You can see the blessings there. That is the only place in the Bible where God says you should prove HIM (challenge Him) if he will not bless you when you pay your tithe. In other words, that verse is saying that if God does not bless you when you pay your tithe, prove him wrong (a liar) that He didn’t honor His words and trust God. He honors His word more than His name. If he doesn’t bless you, you need to check yourself.

He went further in verses 11 & 12 and I quote:

V 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

And he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground;

Neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time

In the field, saith the LORD of hosts”.

V 12 “And all nations shall call you blessed:

For ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the

LORD of hosts”.

And many more promises. Mind you, the blessings are also in form of finance not only protection, favor, etc.

2. Physical Investment: This has to do with you as a person. That is, you giving your strength, time or what you can do towards something. It might be that you’re working somewhere & you receive a pay; that is one of the ways by which you receive income. Where you work is a physical investment as you’re giving that work place your time and energy and you receive a paycheck. Also, you’re helping the body to be more agile.

In few words, physical investment is about giving your man-power, ability, and strength towards a work or project.

3. Mental Investment: Mental Investment is just like a fixing into physical investment. As physical investment is been worked upon, you need your mental abilities to be able to run your physical activities.

4. Social Investment: This type of investment involves you investing within organization, charitable homes, foundations, etc. It is in the form of donating to help organizations. Of course, you’re also investing. Just like the Bible Chapter in Luke 6:38. When you give, you will receive; it’s already stated. You might not receive immediately or receive from that same person or that organization. One of the benefits is that you will be recognized as one of the persons who gave to that organization.

5. Financial Investment: This type of investment is pretty nice. It involves investing in companies i.e. buying shares, stocks, bonds, etc. And of course, I don’t need to talk much on this because you know what it means and in case you don’t know, you can click here.

When you buy shares from a company, you’re a shareholder in that company. Of course, you know aim of a company. Therefore, when the company makes profit, you’ll be a partaker of the goody.

Now, when you’ve worked for the money, you’ve made the money; you put it to work in any of the investment methods or all of them. When you do this, you’ll be amazed at the outcome.

Bringing all five (5) types of investments, spiritual investment will help you grow spiritually and abundant blessings will be yours; physical investment will help you grow financially, physically (body wise), and also, mentally – Mental Investment. Social Investment will help you grow socially and financially; Financial Investment will help you grow mentally as you will have more knowledge of how the stock market works and how to use in your favor. Also, you will grow even more financially.
