having worries about a particular topic as people are always disturbing me
about it and I’ve decided to write on it. I’m sure it’s something that will be
useful and that you will benefit from it, also.
Anytime I log into my 2go account
(though once in a while), Friend requests is what greets me. In other words, I
see a lot of friend requests waiting to be accepted.
When I accept them and the people
come online, they ask me this same question; “My account was hacked. How can I
get it back?”
Now, I think this post will solve
their 2go problems.
This method can also be used to
get back your account when you lost or forget your 2go password.
To troubleshoot this, you need;

Your mobile
phone
·
2go
application
·
Your 2go
MSISDN (phone number).
The one used in registering 2go.
You need these three (3) things
in order for you to get back your 2go account. Either it was hacked or you
forgot/lost your password.
Now, the process begins:
If you still have the SIM card
used in registering 2go (because it was the one used in signing up for 2go),
just go to your messages and type the words ‘2go password’ and send to ‘32120’
(without hyphens).
When you do this, 2go will send
you a message containing your 2go username and your new password. Then you can
now change it your choice.
It’s as simple as that. But of
course, people might not really know as it might be kind of technical.
Also, if you’ve lost the SIM
card, there is no problem. What you will need is the Phone Number used in
registering 2go. Once that is available, there is no problem.
Follow these steps;

Go to a
network center
·
Get a new
SIM card
·
Retrieve the
number you used to register 2go
(Give to a GSM expert if you
can’t do that yourself).
·
Leave for 24
hours.
·
After the 24
hours, insert the SIM into your mobile phone.
Now, that’s the first part.
To the second one, send the words
‘2go password’ to ‘32120’ (without hyphens).
2go will send you a message
containing your username and your new password.
Then you can now login to your
account and change the password to your choice.
With that same SIM, you can
verify your 2go account so as to share friends, send friend requests, buy go
credits, buy 2go styles, etc.
To verify your phone number, send
the words ‘2go verify’ to ‘32120’ (without quotes).
