MONETIZE YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Hi, I’m here today with an interesting post everyone will want to read over and over again. Without wasting much time, let’s go down to the business of the day.

Most people think to “monetize one’s knowledge” means to “sell one’s brain”. Well, I’m glad to tell you that it is not possible for someone to sell his/her knowledge. It’s just like saying “to sell one’s brain (because that’s where knowledge is being stored) and it is impossible for someone to sell his/her brain.

From the meaning of “sell”, to sell something means to hand over something in exchange for something else (because that’s the reason behind selling). Also, for you to sell something, it means that thing is no longer in your possession but the one you collected as exchange. It means you don’t have access to it again because it has being sold. Hence, it is not possible to exchange your brain.

Then what does it mean to monetize my knowledge? To monetize my knowledge doesn’t mean to sell it so as to make money but to make use of it so as to make money.

One good thing about “monetizing your knowledge” is that you can take it up as a business or job.

How can one monetize his/her Knowledge?

There are so many ways by which you can monetize your knowledge. That is, there are so many ways by which you can make use of your brain to make money. Here are a few ways;

If you’re good with numbers, you can become a book keeper or an accountant in a mart or supermarket.
If you’re a skilled using the pencil, pictures and colors, then you are the next creative artist.
If you have an idea about managing stocks &shares, you might just be the next great stock broker every investor needs. Let me expatiate this a little. If you’re a good stock broker, you can go into a deal with a business man/woman and investors in general as to be their stock broker end at the end of the month or end of a period (based on your agreement), you take something home. The interesting part of it is that you can be a stock broker to as many investors as possible but not too many people so as not to lose focus.
If you are a computer guru (like me **smiling**), you can monetize your knowledge about computer by engaging people and taking them on some basic computer skills for an amount.
Are you good at persuading people? You might just be the next sales superstar/marketer.
Go to organizations that are in need of marketers and tell them to give you a trial and they will be glad they did and you might even be employed.
If you are good at writing stories, comics, you can go into a deal with a film producing organization.
And so many more.
